NYC Front Desk Sales Associates
DanceBody is looking for committed Front Desk Sales Associates to join our entrepreneurial team and positively impact the growth of our company. Our studio team is the heart of DanceBody and plays a vital role in keeping our customers happy and thriving. These key individuals are responsible for providing clients with the best service experience and assisting DanceBody Trainers by helping with class flow, studio appearance, and overall brand knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients to the studio with enthusiasm, energy and knowledge of the DanceBody workouts and ethos
- Handling client’s concerns in a professional and objective manner with the goal of resolution
- Support DanceBody Trainers to ensure seamless class transitions
- Maintain the studio appearance, keeping in line with brand aesthetic at all times including but not limited to: equipment set up, studio upkeep, light cleaning, restocking supplies and inventory reporting, organizing retail
- Capturing creative content during studio classes to be shared with the trainer after class
- Oversee the setup of LIVE classes to ensure camera, lights, and livestream are working correctly
- Assisting at events or studio challenges, as needed
- Providing knowledge around the services offered, including but not limited to; pricing options, retail products, DanceBody LIVE platform, and general company information to clients, potential clients and on phone inquiries
- Assist with client relations (check-in, early/late cancel, memberships, retail purchases, vaccination records, etc.) and ensure each client has a positive and personable experience in our studio
- Selling packages, memberships and retail to meet sales goals to help the studio thrive
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to multitask while staying present for clients
- Passion for fitness
- Sales Experience
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in hospitality or wellness industry
- Professional and polite phone and email etiquette
- Ability to be on time and dependable, as this role may be opening/closing the studio.
- Having flexibility and the willingness to cover your teammates when they can't work is a MAJOR plus
- General social media knowledge
- Ability to capture compelling content
- Owns and knows how to use an iphone and shared albums
- MindBody experience, preferred
COMPENSATION

Hamptons Class Assistant
Join DanceBody’s team as a Hamptons Class Assistant in Bridgehampton, NY. Our studio team is the heart of DanceBody and plays a vital role in keeping our customers thriving. These key individuals are responsible for providing clients with the best service experience and assisting DanceBody Trainers by helping with class flow, studio appearance. We are looking for organized, efficient individuals who are passionate about our brand and health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Open and close studio
- Set up studio for class and prepare for client arrivals
- Greet, check-in, or late cancel clients
- Manage on-site transactions (i.e - retail, equipment, water, classes, etc.)
- Support Trainer(s) and facilitate a smooth class flow: transitions, equipment set up, towels
- Provide top-tier customer service: ensure each client has a positive experience, and handle any issues that may arise
- Capture engaging class content; post on DanceBody’s Instagram and share with Trainer
- Maintain studio appearance, keeping in line with brand aesthetic: restocking supplies, towels, equipment, and/or marketing materials and light cleaning
- Speak to the DanceBody workouts and ethos (training provided)
Qualifications
- Outstanding customer service and problem solving skills
- Friendly, can-do attitude
- Able to work with different types of people
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Social media (Instagram/Tik Tok) and photography skills
- Initiates tasks and performs duties without supervision
- Receives performance feedback constructively
- MindBody experience, a plus
- Commit to 3-4 shifts, including at least 1 weekend day per week
- Able to kneel, bend, reach, climb and stand for long durations of time
- Able to lift/carry a maximum of 20lbs
Schedule
- Up to 18 hours per week end of June through Labor Day; daily 8:30am-12:30pm
COMPENSATION
- Pay - $30/single class + $60/double class

DanceBody Trainers
DanceBody is always on the lookout for experienced fitness instructors to join our close-knit team of trainers in NYC, Miami, LA, and The Hamptons. Our mission as trainers is to provide a fun and effective workout by infusing functional training with the playfulness of dance. Qualifying candidates must have some background as a professional dancer. Once through the audition process, applicants will complete our Apprentice Training Program, both in person and virtually.

- Motivational Skills: Ability to learn, adapt and excel at DanceBody’s way of teaching, communicating and training to keep clients coming back
- Communication Skills: Leads with kindness and confidence, is encouraging and empathetic towards both clients and staff
- Listening Skills: DanceBody trainers must be able to "read the room"
- Time Management Skills: Come prepared to each class, private session and staff training with appropriate equipment, choreography and mindset
- Ability to maintain your individuality while keeping the authenticity of DanceBody's method
Responsibilities
- Completion of our Apprentice Training Program
- Ability to pick up choreography quickly, give client’s corrections, and teach our dances
- Monthly committed availability; submitted one month prior
- Respectful communication with our Private Client Coordinator to schedule all Private Client training

Qualifications
- Professional / Semi-professional Dance experience
- Fitness experience and certifications preferred, but not required
- College Degree preferred but not required
- General knowledge of programs such as MindBody + Shopify to assist with classes and clients

Marketing Intern

Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Marketing Department
- Social Media: to assist in management of the company’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest)
- Marketing: to assist in quarterly strategies, email creation, and brand partnerships/events monthly/annual reporting, and overall platform performance.
- Gain relevant content for projects, events, campaigns, e-commerce, etc.
- Organize marketing content and metrics
- Brainstorm campaign ideas and concepts to drive brand recognition and voice
- Assist with influencer outreach
- Available during working hours (20 hours per week) and be available to work at HQ on Tuesdays 12:30-4:30pm
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must!
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and Canva
- Desire to use analytics to improve and drive client engagement
- Creative mindset and abiity to multitask
- Some experience with marketing or social media
- Interest in the fitness space
Compensation
