Temporary Studio Director - NYC | Full Time
We are seeking a highly qualified individual to temporarily fill the full-time role of Studio Director. This role is responsible for overseeing our NYC-based studios, managing two DanceBody pop-up locations, setting sales strategies, clearly communicating initiatives and analyzing all products created and sold by DanceBody. An ideal Studio Director understands our consumer trends and how to analytically track spending habits and present clearly to the team at large in order to drive sales. The Studio Director oversees and manages the Client Services Coordinator, Front Desk Associate team, and e-commerce sales at DanceBody.
NYC Studio Responsibilities
- Oversee our TriBeCa & NoMad Studio Locations
- Be available onsite at studios 3x per week during prime time hours
- Ensure studio is accessible during all open hours
- Cover Front Desk Associate shifts, as needed
- Manage studio upkeep and repairs
- Maintain DanceBody’s standards of appearance and client experience
- Coordinate vendor deliveries (towels, cleaners, water, etc.)
- Align with Marketing Manager to execute any in-studio signage needed
- Manage Mindbody
- Maintain and manage client accounts daily
- Manage any third party platform reporting
- Customer and E-commerce Reporting
- Meet monthly sales goals for studio services and in-studio e-commerce
- Create and analyze monthly studio performance reports (class attendance, retail)
- Report studio operation performance to COO and CEO monthly
- Manage Front Desk Associates
- Set schedules
- Maintain all company policies are being followed
- Hire and onboard new Front Desk Associates, as needed
- Schedule and conduct monthly team meetings
- Communicate all updates, performance, and studio specific goals

DanceBody Pop-Up Responsibilities
- Act as liaison for our studio partners in LA and Miami
- Track attendance at LA and Miami locations
- Oversee revenue reports
Ecommerce Manager Role Responsibilities
- Own and manage ecommerce on DanceBody’s POS (Shopify)
- Organize inventory
- Oversee ecommerce email and all product shipping with the assistance of the Client Services Coordinator
- Manage and present KPIs, sales reports and department/company goals to CEO and COO monthly
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience with MindBody and Shopify
- 1+ year of professional experience in management

Digital Production Coordinator - NYC | Full Time
DanceBody is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our digital fitness platform, DanceBody LIVE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, in-studio technology, client support, and driving the growth of our platform. This role requires a hands-on approach to production filming and the ability to strategize for long-term success.
Platform Management Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including content uploads, scheduling, and platform updates
- Monitor platform performance, user engagement, and subscription metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with Training & Programming team to ensure high-quality, engaging content
- Act as primary liaison between third party provider (Forte) and DanceBody
On-Site Tech Management Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve all technical issues related to streaming equipment (audio, visual, etc)
- Ensure all in-studio technology is functioning optimally at all times
Customer Support Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact to all incoming customer inquiries for DanceBody LIVE, ensuring timely and professional responses in order to maintain a high standard of service and satisfaction
- Assist clients with account management, subscription issues, and navigating the platform
- Gather and analyze client feedback to improve the overall user experience
Digital Production Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage, and execute all aspects of production for DanceBody LIVE including scheduling shoots, set-up, and content post-production
- Work closely with Training & Programming team to ensure high-quality video content that meets brand standards
- Maintain an organized archive of all platform content for current and future use
Growth Strategy Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase platform subscribers, improve user retention, and enhance overall platform growth
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and user behavior to identify opportunities for expansion
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the fitness or digital content industry.
- Strong technical skills, with experience in managing streaming platforms, video production, and in-studio technology.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of marketing and growth strategies is a plus.

- Handling client’s concerns in a professional and objective manner with the goal of resolution
- Support DanceBody Trainers to ensure seamless class transitions
- Maintain the studio appearance, keeping in line with brand aesthetic at all times including but not limited to: equipment set up, studio upkeep, light cleaning, restocking supplies and inventory reporting, organizing retail
- Capturing creative content during studio classes to be shared with the trainer after class
