How Your Membership Works

  • Membership Fees

    Memberships are billed monthly on your recurring start date. Charges appear on your statement as "DanceBody." Your Membership renews automatically unless you cancel.

  • Cancellations

    You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice via email. Your membership stays active until the end of your current billing cycle.

  • Freezes

    Need to press pause? Freeze your membership for up to 3 months for just $40. Keep your current rate when you return, no need to cancel and rejoin. Simply email memberships@dancebody.com at least 1 week in advance and we’ll make it happen!

FAQ

Can I bring a friend to class?

Yes! Use your guest passes to bring a friend. Lite Members get 1 pass, DB Members get 2, Elite Members get 3 per quarter.

How do I use my Guest Pass?

Your guest will need a DanceBody account via Mindbody to use a guest pass. Once they have set up an account, simply add a NYC Single Class or Founders Class to the cart and apply the promo code: [First-Last-GuestPass]. All guest passes will renew automatically on a quarterly basis.

Can I cancel my membership anytime?

We know life moves fast, so we make it easy to adjust your membership. You can cancel your membership anytime with 30 day’s notice by emailing memberships@dancebody.com. Your membership will stay active through the end of your current billing cycle, so you can keep moving, dancing and connecting with the community until then.

Can I freeze my membership?

You can freeze your membership for up to 3 months for a flat fee of $40. Keep your current rate when you return, no need to cancel and rejoin. Just email memberships@dancebody.com at least 1 week in advance to schedule your freeze.

What happens if I miss a class or cancel late?

Cancellations must be made 12 hours before class. If a class is not canceled within this window, Lite and DanceBody Members will lose the class credit. Elite Members will incur a $15 late cancellation fee.

Are there discounts for DanceBody LIVE?

Yes, you get discounts based on your membership tier. Check your member benefits for more details.

What happens if a class is sold out?

If a client doesn’t show up within 10 minutes, we’ll offer their spot to someone on the waitlist. After 15 minutes, no one can enter for safety reasons.
