DANCEBODY CLASS TYPES

  • SCULPT: Mat

    Mat creates foundational strength with a strong focus on activating the core and glutes. Similar to a Pilates Mat class, but with more intensity and higher heart rate, this class blends dance-inspired movements with light resistance and high repetitions. Improves your  posture, flexibility, balance, and stability.

  • Sculpt: Strength

    Strength creates lean muscle tone using functional training exercises to the beat of the best music. Using heavier weights and time under tension, this class will focus on proper form to improve your muscle tone, strength, and bone density.

  • Sculpt: Power

    Power is the gold standard of DanceBody’s Sculpt classes. Building on previously developed stability and strength, this fast-paced, advanced sculpt  class will  focus on dynamically moving with power and resistance for the ultimate burn. Moving quickly in order to keep a high heart rate, this class is an athletic challenge that delivers a dancer’s toned physique.

  • Cardio: Hiit

    HIIT blends together sweaty intervals of follow-along cardio moves with heart pumping sculpt sequences making it one really efficient workout.  Expect to be on your feet, challenging your heart rate, but loving the music so much that time flies by. Boosts your metabolism, enhances VO2Max, builds stamina, and gives you a great sweat.

  • Cardio: HIP HOP

    Hip Hop is the ultimate mood booster. Experience lower impact cardio dances set to the best hip hop songs of all time - sweat never felt so fun. Expect to see rhythmic, choreographed hip hop dances that boost your metabolism, enhance coordination, and feel really damn good. The more you show, the more you’ll know!

  • Cardio: FULL OUT

    Challenge yourself to our most advanced class, Full Out combines our choreographed dances and standing sculpt intervals to deliver anintense 50-minute full-body workout. Dances change every Jan, Apr, Jul, and Oct giving you the chance to practice, perfect, and perform.

  • Wear supportive sneakers. DanceBody is a real workout, so come prepared to sweat. We like Hokas and Asics best.

  • Leave your ego at the door. No one is looking at or judging you - they’re just trying to follow along themselves. Get loose, stay loose, and have fun.

  • There’s a learning curve with dance cardio. Take an Intro to DanceBody class to learn the moves you'll see in Dancebody classes.

I’m not a dancer, can I take these dance cardio classes?

Yes! Our dance cardio classes are designed for you to enjoy a dance workout with no prior dance experience. Most DanceBody Babes start as self-proclaimed “non-dancers,” proving you don’t have to be a dancer to look like one.

Where do I start?

We recommend starting with our Sculpt: Mat class or if you are looking for more cardio, try a Cardio: HIIT.You can find these classes in-studio & on DanceBody LIVE.
